SOME NOTES FOR THIS BIBLE STUDY:
Notice: in Acts 2:38 water baptism was required.
Acts 2:38 (King James Version)
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
NOTICE: IN ACTS CHAPTER 9 THERE WAS A CHANGE.
Notice: Paul was filled with The Holy Spirit before he was baptized. The order is reversed from what it was in Acts Chapter 2.
Acts 9:17-18 (King James Version)
17 And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.
18 And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized.
Notice: The Spirit of God (The Holy Ghost) came upon Cornelius before he was baptized.

47 Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?

Questions and Answers:
1. Can a person be saved and not have The Spirit of God? "NO!"
2. If a person has The Spirit of God, are they saved? "YES!"
3. When did Cornelius receive The Spirit of God? Before or after he was baptized? "Cornelius receive The Spirit of God BEFORE he was baptized!"
THE POINT! IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR SALVATION IN WATER BAPTISM, YOU ARE NOT GOING TO FIND IT.
TODAY, WATER BAPTISM DOES NOT GIVE REMISSION OF SINS AND TO RECEIVER THE HOLY GHOST.
Water baptism will not save you. "PERIOD!"

Notice: in Acts 2:38 water baptism was required.

NOTICE: IN ACTS CHAPTER 9 THERE WAS A CHANGE.
Notice: Paul was filled with The Holy Spirit before he was baptized. The order is reversed from what it was in Acts Chapter 2.

Notice: The Spirit of God (The Holy Ghost) came upon Cornelius before he was baptized.

44 While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.
45 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.
46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,
47 Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?
48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.
Questions and Answers:
1. Can a person be saved and not have The Spirit of God? "NO!"
2. If a person has The Spirit of God, are they saved? "YES!"
3. When did Cornelius receive The Spirit of God? Before or after he was baptized? "Cornelius receive The Spirit of God BEFORE he was baptized!"
THE POINT! IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR SALVATION IN WATER BAPTISM, YOU ARE NOT GOING TO FIND IT.
TODAY, WATER BAPTISM DOES NOT GIVE REMISSION OF SINS AND TO RECEIVER THE HOLY GHOST.
Water baptism will not save you. "PERIOD!"
