IN ROMANS CHAPTER TEN, THE APOSTLE PAUL WAS SPEAKING TO ISRAEL!
HOWEVER,
TODAY, THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE JEW AND THE GENTILE!
From The King James Holy Bible, Romans 10:1
1 Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.
1 Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.
From The King James Holy Bible, Romans 10:12
12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
ARE PAUL’S EPISTLES THE ONLY BOOKS FOR DOCTRINE TODAY?
Pastor Art Watkins of Coden Bible Church (Coden, Alabama)

We are told over and over again by dispensationalists that Romans through Philemon are the only books for doctrine today. But is this true? Let’s ask the man himself. Paul, are your epistles the only books for doctrine today? Paul says no. We then ask him; what books of the Bible should we use to teach and preach doctrine to God’s people today? Paul answered that question years ago in 2 Timothy 3:16: In this one verse Paul told us what books of the Bible we should use to teach doctrine today. He said: ALL SCRIPTURE is given by inspiration of God, and is PROFITABLE FOR DOCTRINE, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
Do you see what books of the Bible are profitable for doctrine today? According to Paul the apostle of the gentiles, ALL SCRIPTURE is profitable for doctrine. He did not say my epistles only as these hyper dispensationalists teach. He said ALL SCRIPTURE is profitable for doctrine.
This is why he quotes the Old Testament between 150-200 times in his epistles. This is why he uses the expression, as it is written, referring to the Old Testament, 33 times in his epistles. This is why he bases at least 55 church doctrines on the Old Testament scriptures. This is why major doctrines of the church are based upon the Old Testament scriptures such as: the Gospel, Justification by Faith, Righteousness by Faith, The Promise of the Indwelling Spirit of God, and the Resurrection of the Dead, and Translation of Living saints at Christ’s coming, and many more.
Another fact is this; when Paul preached and taught the word of God during his life time what books of the Bible did he have in his possession? Some people think he had all 66 books of the Bible in his hands like us. But the fact is, the only books of the Bible that Paul and all the apostles and Christ preached and taught from were Old Testament books especially the prophets like Isaiah the most quoted Old Testament book in the New Testament.
So who are you going to believe? The hyper dispensationalists who say Romans through Philemon are the only books for doctrine today, or the apostle Paul who said ALL SCRIPTURE is profitable for doctrine today?

Christ Did All The Work For Us!
He Took Our Place On The Cross!
He Took Our Place On The Cross!
From The King James Holy Bible, Ephesians 2:8-9
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Call On The Name Of The Lord!
Thank Jesus For What He Did For You!
Thank God For His Grace!
Did you know that prayer is a work? That is why your belief is so important!
Romans 3:24-26
24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
The below verses show that prayer is a work!
Romans 15:30
30 Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ’s sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me;
30 Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ’s sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me;
1 Timothy 5:3-10 (From verse 3 to verse 10, we see that prayer is a work!)
3 Honour widows that are widows indeed.
4 But if any widow have children or nephews, let them learn first to shew piety at home, and to requite their parents: for that is good and acceptable before God.
5 Now she that is a widow indeed, and desolate, trusteth in God, and continueth in supplications and prayers night and day.
6 But she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth.
7 And these things give in charge, that they may be blameless.
8 But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.
9 Let not a widow be taken into the number under threescore years old, having been the wife of one man,
10 Well reported of for good works; if she have brought up children, if she have lodged strangers, if she have washed the saints’ feet, if she have relieved the afflicted, if she have diligently followed every good work.

Colossians 4:12
12 Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.
12 Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.
2 Corinthians 1:11 (Prayer is something you can help in. Help is a work)
11 Ye also helping together by prayer for us, that for the gift bestowed upon us by the means of many persons thanks may be given by many on our behalf.

A NOTE ON ROMANS 10-9
Romans 10:9
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Israel crucified Jesus because of unbelief. So for for them to be SAVED, they had to confess with their mouth that Jesus was the Lord. Also, that Jesus was raised from the dead by God.
People that claim they Rightly Divide (RDers) the Bible, stress that this verse is not for our SALVATION today.
As an Ambassador for Christ as a SAVED person, you most certainly will be confessing with your mouth the Lord Jesus. Also, you will be teaching THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST as taught by the Apostle Paul that covers GOD raised JESUS from the dead!
The Gospel of Christ, as taught by the Apostle Paul, points to THE WAY!
But remember, the Apostle Paul is not THE WAY!
Christ Jesus is THE WAY that makes the Gospel have LIFE!
The Apostle Paul always focused on THE WAY, our Lord and Saviour Jesus The Christ!
Paul is just a part of God’s plan.
Just as the Lord enabled Paul, so does He you and me!
Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

A NOTE FOR RDers
I think there’s a demonic force behind some of the RDism - devised to ’separate’ us from God’s security and fullness of His Word being allowed to ‘work in us’!
Let God open your interest to look into His Word, His way!
Beware of Truth mixed with cult like lies.
For present day, Romans 10-9 is very ’fitting’ to be there, since the evil spirits want us to not ‘confess Jesus’ or think the verse is not for us!
There are so many LIES in the world today! Like a weed you chop down and uproot, one has already seeded the ground with more of its kind!
You can be on one extreme of the RD (Right Division) pendulum or the other. But be cautious. Don't let RD (Right Division) keep you from God’s Charity, Hope, and Grace! Do not grow weeds in your presentation and attitude of The Gospel of Christ as taught by the Apostle Paul.
The way we know a person is Saved is by their words. So, that’s a confession. Romans 10-9 states the basic requirement: ‘believe in thine heart’ - isn’t that what it’s all about for anyone, to believe God (and what he provided)?
No matter the dispensation of God, BELIEVE GOD, which equals FAITH in Him! Trusting Him.
Many say that believing (1 Corinthians 15 1-4) is what we need to believe today.
The Apostle Paul Paul points out the specifics, but in general, it comes down to ‘believe what God believes’ and ‘believe in His Son’.
Making all these divisions reminds me of Matthew 23:24!
Matthew 23:24
24 Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.
24 Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.
Confessing Christ Jesus
as our Lord and Savior is not a work, it is the truth!
as our Lord and Savior is not a work, it is the truth!
