THE ENEMIES OF GOD
1 Corinthians 15:25

1. DEATH
The Kingdom of God is here today! Christ is King and reigning!
And, you are in it if you have been translated into it by the new birth!
Colossians 1:12-13
12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
The Kingdom is not a visible kingdom.
Luke 17:20-21
20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
This Kingdom was here when Christ was here, and is here today!
Matthew 12:28
28 But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.
Mark 9:1
1 And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power.
The Kingdom of God came with power. Jesus worked many miracles to back up what he was saying. This is all through the book of Acts.
How do you get into this Kingdom? Look at (John 3:5-7).
John 3:5-7
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
Born of flesh is the first birth. Born of the Spirit is the second birth. You get into the Kingdom by spiritual a birth.
Christ is our King and is reigning today!
John 18:36-37
36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.
37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.
Jesus plainly said He came into this world to be a King!
The Jew's idea of the Kingdom was a physical one.
Jesus brought in His Kingdom peaceably.
The Apostles called Jesus their King. The Apostle Paul stated this in (1 Timothy 1:17). The Apostle John stated this in (Revelation 15:3).

17 Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Revelation 15:3
3 And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.
Christ is now reigning.
Matthew 22:44
44 The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool?
Eight times in the Bible Jesus make reference to enemies and the footstool as in (Matthew 22:44).
What you read in (Matthew 22:44), Jesus Christ is doing right now!
(1 Peter 3:22) is going on right now!

22 Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.
How long will the Lord reign?
The answer is, until He makes His enemies His footstool.
How and when will He make all His enemies His footstool?
The answer is, mainly around His second coming.
1 Corinthians 15:21-26
21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.
24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.
26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
Let's look at how and when He will destroy death first, then we will look at how and when He will destroy the rest of His enemies.
1 Corinthians 15:50-55
50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
At Christ's second coming, death will be destroyed. Dead Saints will be resurrected, and live Saints will not die. This is how and when Christ destroys the enemy of death.
The Lord has other enemies He must destroy. Their defeat is recorded in The Book of Revelation. The Book of Revelation is about The Lord putting his enemies under His footstool, and The Lord crushing His enemies.

2. BABYLON
Now we talk about Babylon. Babylon stands for and represents the religious system that is responsible for the death of millions of Saints. It is the religious system that is responsible for the deception of billions, besides the death of millions.
(Revelation 17:3-6) describes the religious system that is responsible for the deception of billions, and the death of millions of Saints.
THIS IS A DESCRIPTION OF ROME AND ISLAM THAT HAS JOINED TOGETHER IN MUTUAL ACCORD.
They are friends and allies and call each other brothers and sisters.
They are working together to build up together a one world religion.
Muslims do not believe in Jesus and believe in a created God.
Rome supports their belief saying they are saved by believing in a created god.
Rome and Islam have butchered millions of Saints throughout history.
Revelation 17:3-6
3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
5 And upon her forehead was a name written, Mystery, Babylon The Great, The Mother Of Harlots And Abominations Of The Earth.
6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.
God calls this religious system a GREAT WHORE and He will destroy it.
Look at (Revelation 18:1-5) God is telling His people to come out of this.
Revelation 18:1-5
1 And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.
2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.
3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.
4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.
Look at (Revelation 18:20-21). We see God destroying Babylon

20 Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.
21 And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.
In (Revelation 18:24) we see that Babylon contained the blood of Prophets and Saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.

24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.
So this is the end of them - Babylon.

3. ARMAGEDDON
The enemy Armageddon is all the kings and armies of every nation of the earth going to Jeruselem to fight against Jesus Christ.
Armageddon will lose! Look at (Revelation 16:13-16). Here comes Armageddon to fight against God.

13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.
In (Revelation 19:11-14) we see Jesus coming with His armies.

11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
In (Psalms 149:4-9) and (Jude 1:14), we see the Saints of The Lord.

4 For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.
5 Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.
6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand;
7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;
8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;
9 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the Lord.
Jude 1:14
1 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
In (Revelation 19:15-18) we see how the battle of Armageddon ends up. This is one dinner plate you sure do not want to be on.
Revelation 19:15-18
15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King Of Kings, And Lord Of Lords.
17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;
18 That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.
The fools of Armageddon think they can defeat Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ comes down and defeats them, plus, cleans up the battlefield.
Armageddon will lose! Look at (Revelation 16:13-16). Here comes Armageddon to fight against God.

In revelation (Revelation 19:19-21) we see the antichrist being cast into The Lake of Fire.

19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.
20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.
The antichrist winds up in The Lake of Fire being tormented forever. Thank God!
Remember, God's enemies are your enemies.

5. THE DEVIL
God's number one enemy is the devil.
There is not enough words to describe how horrible, evil, and wicked the devil is.
Death, misery, and destruction the devil has caused.
Well, God has got his number too.
Look at (Revelation 20:1-3).

1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
So when Jesus comes, the devil is put in a bottomless pit and locked in for a thousand years. But, that is not the end of him yet. He will be loosed for a little season.

6. THE 4TH GENTILE KINGDOM
There is a coming a 4th gentile kingdom. It is not here yet. Look at (Daniel 7:23).

23 Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.

The last enemy, the lost, is really solemn. Why? Because it effects me and you.
How many of you, have friends and relatives, that are not saved?
Sadly, here is their end in (2 Thessalonians 1:7-10)

8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;
10 When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.
Visualize the faces of your unsaved loved family and friends who shall be punished with everlasting destruction.
That ought to really grip your soul, and cause you to make further efforts to reach these people with the Gospel.

In closing, today our politicians and the morality in the United States is pathetic and stinks. Religion has become an abomination to God. The devil is winning battle, after battle, after battle. Men hate God and Christ more than they ever have. Christians are being murdered by the hundreds of thousands. The King James Bible is totally rejected and hated. God has been kicked out of the schoolhouse and courthouse. Until recently, God has even been kicked out of The White House. But remember, God is in Heaven ruling over The Kingdom of God, and every enemy God has will be crushed under His feet.
