Notes For This Bible Study
The True And The False Christ:
Today, when a man says he preaches Jesus, you got to ask, "Which one?"
Today, when a person says they believe in Jesus, you got to ask, "Which one?"
The true Jesus warned that there will be many false Christs.
Matthew 24:24 (King James Version)
24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
The real Jesus is the one the Apostles preached in The New Testament.
You need to compare the Jesus preached today to what the Apostles taught, as there are many false saviors being preached today that will put millions and millions of people into Hell that think they believe in Jesus.
TODAY WE ARE SURROUNDED BY COUNTERFEIT JESUSES, COUNTERFEIT GOSPELS, AND COUNTERFEIT SPIRITS!
The False Jesus:
1. The false Jesus is created by men to fit their man-made doctrine.
2. A false Jesus leads men to teach a false gospel.
3. The teaching of a false Jesus slanders the doctrine of the real Jesus Christ.
4. The teaching of a false Jesus slanders the works of the real Jesus Christ.
5. False doctrine elevates the false Jesus above the real Jesus.
6. The death and shed blood of the false Jesus is not all that is necessary to save you and keep you saved forever.
7. The false Jesus says you must do a work also to be saved (such as taking the sacrament - keeping the ten commandments - living a good life). The Catholic Church is big on this, but they teach a false Jesus.
8. The false Jesus is a created being. An example of this is The Scriptures Alone Bible School run by a man named Martin Richling. By this, Richling elevates a false Jesus over the real Jesus.
9. The false Jesus is not the beginning of the Church. Examples of this are the Pope (Catholic Church), Joseph Smith (Mormon Church), Charles Taze Russell (Jehovah’s Witnesses), Mary Baker Eddy (Church of Christ, Scientist).
10. The false Jesus teaches evolution, and not creation.
11. The false Jesus did not abolish "THE LAW" and animal sacrifice.
12. Ministers of Satan think they have the same power as the false Jesus they teach about.
13. Prosperity Preachers teach a false Jesus, in that, Jesus died to make you healthy, rich, happy, and to have a big self-esteem. An example of this is Kenneth Copeland Ministries.
14. The false Jesus does not take vengeance upon anybody, not even upon those that do not believe in him.
15. The false Jesus is a pacifist.
16. The false Jesus will cast no one into The Lake of Fire, and many false Pastors teach that Hell does not even exist. An example is the Jehovah's Witnesses.
17. The false Jesus does not have a Father. Just Jesus being all things. An example is the "Jesus only" people, such as T. D. Jakes of The Potter's House Church, Dallas.
18. The false Jesus of the Charismatics wore designer cloths, lived like a King, and the Charismatics say we ought to be that way also.
19. The false Jesus in some Churches is a small cracker that you eat, chew up, digest, then flush down the toilet.
20. The false Jesus is very politically correct.
21. The false Jesus does not chastise people for their sins.
22. The false Jesus has people forgetting about The Lord's Supper.
23. The false Jesus says that some believers are not members of his body, even though he dwells in them and them in him.
24. There is a false Jesus today that sends men to preach a gospel that contradicts what the Apostle Paul taught.
25. The false Jesus teachers more than one saving gospel.
26. The blood of the false Jesus only covers sins until a future date. The blood of the false Jesus does not remove and forgive sins.
27. The false Jesus does not secure the salvation of all believers.
28. The false Jesus says you got to keep "THE LAW" after you believe in me.
29. The false Jesus says that "FAITH" and "WORKS" is required for salvation.
30. The false Jesus says, after you believe on me, you better be careful, you can come under condemnation.
31. The false Jesus says to not follow what he did and taught while on earth.
32. The false Jesus says he is not your High Priest.
33. The false Jesus says you do not have a place in The Kingdom of God. The Kingdom is for Israel and not for you.
34. The false Jesus says you will not suffer tribulation in this world. (Note: From 33 AD to 1900 AD, 14 million people were martyred for Jesus. In the last century alone, 26 million people have been martyred for Jesus. And yet, the false Jesus says you will not suffer tribulation. The real Jesus tells the truth!)
35. The false Jesus says, when he returns to earth, he will be secret and silent.
36. The false Jesus says to not study The Old Testament. (Note: The Apostle Paul quoted from The Old Testament 200 times and based 60 Church doctrines on The Old Testament.)
37. The false Jesus says The New Covenant is not yours to claim. (Note: In the New Covenant you will find a once for all sacrifice for your sins.)
38. The false Jesus says you do not need to be born again to get into God's Kingdom.
39. The false Jesus is not interested on how you live in this present world.
40. The false Jesus says everything is free under grace, and nothing is based on your works for him. In that, nothing is based upon your service to him in this life.
41. The false Jesus says those mansions in Heaven do not belong to you.
42. The false Jesus says we should expect the world to treat us better than the world treated him.
43. The false Jesus says the closer you get to God, the more the world will love you.
The True Jesus:
1. The death and shed blood of the real Jesus is "ALL THAT IS NECESSARY" to save you and keep you saved forever.
2. The true Jesus did all the work necessary for you to be saved.
3. The real Jesus is eternal, never having a beginning, nor an ending.
4. The real Jesus is the beginning of the Church, because He is the Head of the Church.
5. The real Jesus is the creator of Heaven and earth.
6. The real Jesus abolished "THE LAW" and animal sacrifices forever by His death on the Cross.
7. The real Jesus has all power in Heaven and on the earth.
8. The real Jesus came to earth to save sinners from Hell and from the wrath of God.
9. The real Jesus said that he would come in flaming fire to take vengeance upon those that do not believe in Him.
10. The real Jesus said that He would cast sinners into The Lake of Fire.
11. The real Jesus has a Father in Heaven that He prayed to.
12. The real Jesus suffered poverty through His life.
13. The real Jesus said Heaven is His throne and the earth is His footstool.
14. The real Jesus called false teachers serpents, vipers, hypocrites, whited sepulchers, wolves, and children of the Devil.

33. The real Jesus offers us rewards, crowns, and blessings to us, based on our service to Him in this life. Salvation is free, but that does not mean everything is free.

35. The real Jesus told us that we should not expect this world to treat us better than Him.
36. The real Jesus said that the closer you get to God, the more the world will hate you.
