Ephesians 1:22 & 23
22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
People say the Church started with Paul. "THIS IS NOT CORRECT!" If this was correct, then why did Paul start out persecuting the Church? There is one body, the Church! See (Ephesians 4:4) below.
Ephesians 4:4
4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
The Church did not begin with Paul. "THE CHURCH WAS ALREADY THERE!" Look what Paul says in (Romans 16:7) below. Paul states, "WHO ALSO WERE IN CHRIST BEFORE ME!"
Romans 16:7
7 Salute Andronicus and Junia, my kinsmen, and my fellowprisoners, who are of note among the apostles, who also were in Christ before me.

LENGTH = Ephesians 1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: / Ephesians 2:7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
DEPTH = Ephesians 2:3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. (WE WERE HEADED FOR HELL!)
HEIGHT = Ephesians 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

Hebrews 12:3
3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.

Drinking (is not a sin, however, drunkenness is a sin)

Drunkenness is a sin!

Easter (pagan holiday)
Acts 12:1-4
1 NOW about that time Herod the king stretched forth his hands to vex certain of the church.
2 And he killed James the brother of John with the sword.
3 And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened bread.)
4 And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people.

Easter appears only one time in the Holy King James Bible. Who intended after Easter, to bring Peter forth to the people? The answer is Herod the King! Do you think Herod the King was a Bible believing son of God? No! Of course not! In fact, Herod had just murdered James the brother of John with the sword! Herod's intent is to now kill Peter. But Herod had to take off for a holiday. "THE ONLY TIME EASTER APPEARS IN THE HOLY BIBLE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST!" "EASTER IS SIMPLY A PAGAN HOLIDAY (that was recognized by Herod the King)!"
Edification (grow up into Christ in all things, which is the head)
Ephesians 4:15 & 16
15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

Notice below, "UNBELIEF" is not on the list.
Romans 8:35-39
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

12 In thee have they taken gifts to shed blood; thou hast taken usury and increase, and thou hast greedily gained of thy neighbours by extortion, and hast forgotten me, saith the Lord GOD.
13 Behold, therefore I have smitten mine hand at thy dishonest gain which thou hast made, and at thy blood which hath been in the midst of thee.
Faith (substance of things hoped for, evidence of things not seen)
Through faith we understand the Holy Bible, and not by the commentaries of men.

1 NOW faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
Faith - Trust - Believe (synonyms)
Ephesians 1:12-15
12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
15 Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,
12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
15 Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,
Five I wills of Satan (the undoing of him)
Isaiah 14:12-14
12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

Free gift (the righteousness of God)
"BELOW, 6 TIMES WE SEE THE FREE GIFT OF GOD'S RIGHTEOUSNESS BY GRACE!"
Romans 5:13-18
13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.
15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.
17 For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

19 And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles.

Godliness (God manifested in the flesh)

God's name in vain (To take God's name in vain)
Proverbs 30:7-9
7 Two things have I required of thee; deny me them not before I die:
8 Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me:
9 Lest I be full, and deny thee, and say, Who is the LORD? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain.
In (Proverbs 30:7-9) above, the man claims to be a believer, and he is a thief. Thus, taking God's name in vain.
When you believe in Jesus, and have faith in His blood, you have taken the name of God upon yourself! You are saying God is your Father! So, do not go out and do "ANY KIND OF SIN!"

Harden Pharaoh’s heart (did Pharaoh have a choice? "YES!")
Exodus 7:3
3 And I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt.
You need to understand "HOW" God hardened Pharaoh's heart. God did not interfere with the free will of Pharaoh. What God does is to put fourth a compelling case. God values "FREE WILL" so much, that He did not interfere in the Garden of Eden between Adam, Eve, and Satan. The answer lies in (Proverbs 29:1) below. This is what happen to Pharaoh. Moses often reproved Pharaoh, "LET MY PEOPLE GO!" Being often reproved, Pharaoh hardened his neck. Pharaoh had a choice. Remember that!

6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Christ said while on earth, in (John 14:9) below, seeing him was seeing the Father.
John 14:9
9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
John 14:9
9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
The word LORD "all caps" in (Isaiah 25:9) below, is referring to the Father, fulfilled when Christ Jesus is seen upon his return to earth.
Isaiah 25:9
9 And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.
Isaiah 25:9
9 And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.
Usually / LORD = The Father / Lord = Jesus / There are exceptions where "Lord" in lower case refers to the Father. The context will say it like this: the Lord God. But in the Old Testament "most of the time," when you see LORD in all caps, it refers to the Father. (Psalm 110:1) below is a good verse to illustrate the difference. The first LORD is the Father. The next Lord is the Son.
Psalm 110:1
1 THE LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
Psalm 110:1
1 THE LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
Love (fall in love with God's love for you)
|
Love, is there a greater love than John 15:3? ("YES!")
Yes! In Paul's Gospel, Jesus Christ even died for His enemies, the ungodly!
Romans 5:8-10
8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
Man (a real man keeps the charge of the LORD thy God)
1 Kings 2:2-4
2 I go the way of all the earth: be thou strong therefore, and shew thyself a man;
3 And keep the charge of the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and his testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, that thou mayest prosper in all that thou doest, and whithersoever thou turnest thyself:
4 That the LORD may continue his word which he spake concerning me, saying, If thy children take heed to their way, to walk before me in truth with all their heart and with all their soul, there shall not fail thee (said he) a man on the throne of Israel.
2 I go the way of all the earth: be thou strong therefore, and shew thyself a man;
3 And keep the charge of the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and his testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, that thou mayest prosper in all that thou doest, and whithersoever thou turnest thyself:
4 That the LORD may continue his word which he spake concerning me, saying, If thy children take heed to their way, to walk before me in truth with all their heart and with all their soul, there shall not fail thee (said he) a man on the throne of Israel.

2 If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:
3 How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,
4 Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)
1 FOR this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles,

Partition (the middle wall of partition between Jew and Gentile)
"GOD DID NOT ERECT THE MIDDLE WALL OF PARTITION IN VERSE 14 BELOW!"
"THE JEWS THEMSELVES DID THIS!" Read Isaiah Chapter 26, and you will see Israel failed to do what they were supposed to do.
Ephesians 2:13 & 14
13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
In verse 14 above, "who hath made both one," this "both" is (Jew and Gentile). God made Israel "above" all the nations. But they failed to do the job they were charged with. An example is (Isaiah 65:2-5) below.
Isaiah 65:2-5
2 I have spread out my hands all the day unto a rebellious people, which walketh in a way that was not good, after their own thoughts;
3 A people that provoketh me to anger continually to my face; that sacrificeth in gardens, and burneth incense upon altars of brick;
4 Which remain among the graves, and lodge in the monuments, which eat swine’s flesh, and broth of abominable things is in their vessels;
5 Which say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou. These are a smoke in my nose, a fire that burneth all the day.
In Ephesians 2:13 above, we see Christ Jesus fixed things and "broke down the middle wall of partition!"

In Ephesians 2:13 above, we see Christ Jesus fixed things and "broke down the middle wall of partition!"
Pastor (a shepherd)
Jeremiah 23:1-4
1 WOE be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD.
2 Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the LORD.
3 And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase.
4 And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith the LORD.
1 WOE be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD.

19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Perfect (no blemish therein)

18 And it came to pass, as her soul was in departing, (for she died) that she called his name Ben-oni: but his father called him Benjamin.
Prayer (for a Saint today)
For a saved person. "WHEN WE PRAY!" "GOD'S WILL IS THE ISSUE!" You will never be happy going against the will of God as His child. "NEVER!" Until we have greater understanding, the Spirit helps us pray. See (Romans 8:26 & 27) below.
Romans 8:26 & 27
26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
(Ephesians 6:18) below is advanced truth. When you reach this level of understanding, you will be praying according to the will of God, and therefore the Spirit no longer has to edit your prayers.
Ephesians 6:18
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
Today, we do not have to say, "In the name of Jesus we pray!" Or such like. This was before Calvary. Today, God know you are in Christ. They prayed in the name of Jesus in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. The Apolstle Paul never said anything like that.
Romans 8:26 & 27

Prayer is a work (it is labouring fervently, it is striving, it is helping, it is a good work)
Colossians 4:12
12 Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.
12 Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.
Romans 15:30
30 Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ’s sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me;
30 Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ’s sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me;
2 Corinthians 1:11
11 Ye also helping together by prayer for us, that for the gift bestowed upon us by the means of many persons thanks may be given by many on our behalf.
11 Ye also helping together by prayer for us, that for the gift bestowed upon us by the means of many persons thanks may be given by many on our behalf.
1 Timothy 5-10
5 Now she that is a widow indeed, and desolate, trusteth in God, and continueth in supplications and prayers night and day.
6 But she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth.
7 And these things give in charge, that they may be blameless.
8 But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.
9 Let not a widow be taken into the number under threescore years old, having been the wife of one man,
10 Well reported of for good works; if she have brought up children, if she have lodged strangers, if she have washed the saints’ feet, if she have relieved the afflicted, if she have diligently followed every good work.

JESUS CHRIST DID IT ALL FOR YOU! DO NOT INSULT GOD AND TRY TO ADD A WORK THAT YOU DID!
Romans 1:16
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Predestinated (once you are in the body of Christ)
Predestinated "WHEN" you are placed "INTO" the body of The Lord Jesus Christ (His Church)!
"YOU" as an "INDIVIDUAL" were not predestined to be saved. Nowhere in the Holy Bible does it say that. This is Calvinism twisting the Holy Bible to say an "INDIVIDUAL" is predestinated to be saved.
Once you are placed into Christ "YOU THEN" are participating in "THE CHURCH" (the body of Christ) that was predestinated!

Prophetic program of Israel (God setting up an eternal Kingdom)
The whole goal of the Prophetic program of Israel is summed up in (Daniel 2:44) below. "AND THIS WILL COME TO BE!"
Daniel 2:44

44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.
Propitiation (reconciled unto God, to assuage His wrath)
2 Corinthians 5:20 & 21
20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.
21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.

Regeneration (is for the Gentiles)
Born again (Jews, and not Gentiles)
Exodus 4:22
22 And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD, Israel is my son, even my firstborn:
The Jews are the sons of God in the flesh, His (God's) first born. This is why a Jew has to be born again (why Jesus said this to Nicodemus in John 3:3). They were born in the flesh, but they have to be born again in the spirit! Gentiles were not sons in the flesh (don't count Adam). Only Israel can make that claim.
John 3:3
3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
GENTILES ARE NOT BORN AGAIN! GENTILES ARE "REGENERATED!" Gentiles were cut off from Israel in trespasses and sins.

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
Revelation 12:7 (this occurs in the middle of the Tribulation)
Revelation 12:7-9
7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
Righteousness (Jesus Christ)
Romans 3:26
26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
Righteousness (of the law)
Romans 7:12
12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.
12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.
1 Peter 1:16
16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
Matthew 5:48
48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
Romans 8:1
1 THERE is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
1 THERE is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Rightly dividing the word of truth (putting bible truths in the correct time period)
Below, you can see that Hymenæus and Philetus were taking a Bible truth, the resurrection, and putting it in the wrong time period!
2 Timothy 2:15-18
15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.
17 And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenæus and Philetus;
18 Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.
15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.
17 And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenæus and Philetus;
18 Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.
"VERY IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER!" Keep "BIBLE TRUTHS" in the "RIGHT TIME PERIOD," and not Bible Books! You do not put Bible Books in categories of time past.
Rigour (bitter with hard bondage)
Exodus 1:13 & 14
13 And the Egyptians made the children of Israel to serve with rigour:
14 And they made their lives bitter with hard bondage, in morter, and in brick, and in all manner of service in the field: all their service, wherein they made them serve, was with rigour.
13 And the Egyptians made the children of Israel to serve with rigour:
14 And they made their lives bitter with hard bondage, in morter, and in brick, and in all manner of service in the field: all their service, wherein they made them serve, was with rigour.

Romans 10:9 (was only for a "JEW" during the diminishing period of Israel)
"THERE IS NO BLOOD IN ROMANS CHAPTER 10!"
Romans 10:9
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
1. The Jews did not believe Jesus was the Christ.
2. The Jews did not believe Jesus Christ was raised from the dead.
2. The Jews did not believe Jesus Christ was raised from the dead.
In (Romans 10:5-8), Paul is provoking the Jews. This is Deuteronomy Chapter 30 scripture. This is sacred ground for Jews. To the Jews, Gentiles are dogs. But at the foot of the Cross, all ground is level. Remember, the Jews did not believe in Jesus, and killed Him.
When Paul inserts Jesus in the parenthesis in (Romans 10:6 & 7), "THIS IS A BIG PROVOKE!"
Romans 10:5-8
5 For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.
6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)
7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)
8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
Romans 10:6 = Deuteronomy 30:12 / (that is, to bring Christ down from above:) = a provoke
Romans 10:7 = Deuteronomy 30:13 / (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.) = a provoke
Romans 10:8 = Deuteronomy 30:14 = a provoke
Deuteronomy 30:11-14
11 For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off.
12 It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?
13 Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?
14 But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.

Romans Chapter 7 (Paul struggled with sin, but was victorious through Jesus Christ)
Paul emerged victorious in the last verse of Romans Chapter 7 through Jesus Christ!
Romans 7:25
25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
Romans 6:2
2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
Romans 6:4
4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
Romans 6:11
11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans Chapters 9, 10, & 11 (is about Israel as they were diminishing, with Paul provoking Israel with the Gentiles)
What the Apostle Peter said about the Apostle Paul!
2 Peter 3:16
16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

Sacrifice Jesus (had Israel accepted Jesus, still, He would have been sacrificed)
Had Israel ACCEPTED Jesus as their Christ and Lord when He first came, they would have had to bind Him to the horns of the altar as in (Psalms 118:27) below for their sins. And be sacrificed as a lamb without spot for the sins of Israel. The REJECTION of Him, caused the CROSS! But, either way, His BLOOD would have been shed.
Psalms 118:24-29
24 This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
25 Save now, I beseech thee, O LORD: O LORD, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.
26 Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the LORD: we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD.
27 God is the LORD, which hath shewed us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar.
28 Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee.
29 O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Saint (called to be)
Becoming a saint is when you are faithful to the first 8 Chapters of Romans!
Romans 1:7

Salvation (for today under God's grace, Romans 3:24-26)
Romans 3:24-26
24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

I, Roger Lee Black, believe in Jesus, I have faith in His blood, I am fully persuaded!
Salvation from what (Hell, and The Lake of Fire)
Isaiah 66:24

Mark 9:43 & 44

44 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
43 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:

Mark 9:45 & 46

45 And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
46 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
Mark 9:47 & 48
47 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire:
48 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
47 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire:

Salvation is by grace and faith, and not of works (a gift of God)
Ephesians 2:8 & 9
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Genesis 13:8 & 9
8 And Abram said unto Lot, Let there be no strife, I pray thee, between me and thee, and between my herdmen and thy herdmen; for we be brethren.

Sever (Division)
Exodus 8:22 & 23
22 And I will sever in that day the land of Goshen, in which my people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there; to the end thou mayest know that I am the LORD in the midst of the earth.
23 And I will put a division between my people and thy people: to morrow shall this sign be.

Spirit (things of the SPIRIT are the WORDS OF GOD)
1 Corinthians 2:12-14
12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
John 6:63
63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
Matthew 4:4
4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
Spiritual believer (do mind the things of the Spirit)
Romans 8:5
5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
Spiritual blindness (spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear)
Romans 11:8
8 (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.
8 (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.
Sport (make ye a wide mouth, and draw out the tongue)
Isaiah 57:4
4 Against whom do ye sport yourselves? against whom make ye a wide mouth, and draw out the tongue? are ye not children of transgression, a seed of falsehood,
4 Against whom do ye sport yourselves? against whom make ye a wide mouth, and draw out the tongue? are ye not children of transgression, a seed of falsehood,
Stubbornness (iniquity and idolatry)
1 Samuel 15:23
23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.
23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.

Supplication (to request)
Esther 4:8
8 Also he gave him the copy of the writing of the decree that was given at Shushan to destroy them, to shew it unto Esther, and to declare it unto her, and to charge her that she should go in unto the king, to make supplication unto him, and to make request before him for her people.

Ten Commandments (not all apply today)
On the Ten Commandments that Moses gave, the one that does not apply today is the sabbeth.
Colossians 2:16
16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
Honor thy Mother and Father still applies today with a change. Remember, when Moses gave the law, all Israel were believers. So, there is a change today under the grace of God.
Ephesians 6:1-3
1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.
2 Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;)
3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.
In verse 1 above, look at these three words, "IN THE LORD!"
So, if you have a parent that is not a believer, and you are, you do not have to honour the unbelieving parent.
In review, on the Ten Commandments that Moses gave, the one that does not apply today is the sabbeth. Also, the one on honour your mother and mother has an addition to it. The other commandments "STAND" for today as well. Therefore, there are 8 commandments that you do today, one with an additional change, and one that does not apply today.
