WHY I LOVE THE RED LETTER WORDS OF CHRIST - ONE

The Red Letter words are the words Jesus Christ spoke during his ministry on earth. I love all of them such as this one:

John 5:24: Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

Notice the tenses of the promises Christ made in this verse to those who believe on him.

They are passed from death unto life, past tense.

They have everlasting life, present tense.

They shall not come into condemnation, future tense.
