THE RED LETTER WORDS OF CHRIST ARE DANGEROUS? (Note: A Doctrine Of Devils!) Pastor Art Watkins of Coden Bible Church (Coden, Alabama) November 19, 2018 Just when I thought I had seen it all this post appeared on Face Book written by a woman who is a hyper dispensationalist warning us about the Red Letter Words of Christ. She wrote: “It’s dangerous to live in the Red Letters (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John) when things written aforetime were written for our learning. (Rom. 15:4) Members of the body of Christ are supposed to be magnifying the Apostle Paul’s office (Rom. 11:13) Following the Red Letters is minimizing Paul’s office. The people who are saying they are following Jesus Christ in His earthly ministry most assuredly are not”. This was written by hyper dispensationalist and it shows us again how heretical this group has become. Think about it: This woman actually says “it’s dangerous to follow the Red Letter words of Christ” and if you do you are “minimizing Paul’s office”. Is this true? Is it actually dangerous to follow the Red Letter Words of Christ like this woman says? Does a person minimize the apostle Paul by following the Red Letter Words of Christ? What saith the scriptures? Take a look at these Red Letter Words of Christ and see if they are dangerous to you. Matthew 20:28: Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. ****Does this sound dangerous to you? John 3:14-18: And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up; That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. ****Does this sound dangerous to you? John 5:24: Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. ****Does this sound dangerous to you? John 6:37-40: All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. John 6:47-51: Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. I am that bread of life. Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead. This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die. I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. ****Does these promises in John 6 sound dangerous to you? John 10:9-11: I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. John 10:14-15: I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. John 10:17-18: Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father. John 10:27-30: My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one. ****Do these promises Jesus made in John 10 sound dangerous to you? John 12:32-33: And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. This he said, signifying what death he should die. John 12:46-47: I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. John 14:1-3: Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. ****Does this promise sound dangerous to you? You have just read a few of the Red Letter Words of Christ. Do these Red Letter words sound dangerous to you? Anyone who says these words are dangerous is either lost or highly deceived by satan. Its religious insanity to say the Red Letter Words of Christ are dangerous! The only people who these words are a danger to are hyper dispensationalists for they destroy their religious system and show us again and again how blind and deceived these people really are. I thank God every day for rescuing me out of this religious system and its lies and false doctrines.
