JOSEPH PRINCE VERSUS JESUS CHRIST Pastor Art Watkins of Coden Bible Church (Coden, Alabama) December 4, 2015 Joseph Prince is one of the new Asian super stars among the charismatic’s. He says his doctrine and preaching is influenced by Kenneth Copeland and Joel Olsten. This is what he says about those who believe the gospel in his book; Destined to Reign: When you believe the gospel of Jesus, which is based entirely on His grace, it will result in health and prosperity. In fact, the gospel of Jesus Christ leads to blessings, success, healing, restoration, protection, financial breakthroughs, security, peace, wholeness and MUCH MORE!". But what did Jesus say about those who believe on him? Did he agree with Joseph Prince? He said in John 15:18-21: If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me. He said in John 16:33: These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. He said in Matthew 5:10-12: Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. This is what Jesus said would happen to his followers when they believed on him. As you can see he said just the opposite of what Joseph Prince said. Who are you going to believe? I am going to believe what Jesus said and reject what Prince said. Prince is just another in a long list of lying, false teachers in the charismatic movement who preach the false gospel of health, wealth and prosperity. He fools a lot of people by using the word “grace”, but some of the greatest deceivers in the religious system have always used words like “grace and love” to deceive and fool people. The devil and his ministers often use the same words that Bible believers use but mean just the opposite. Don’t be fooled by Joseph Prince or Joseph Smith either.
